He is versed in project management, coordination, and construction of multi-disciplined design/engineering teams. His current experience is as Principal/President of AB Consulting Engineers, Inc. His previous experience included Senior Structural Engineer for TLC Engineering for Architecture, Boyle Engineering, and Val Villanyi Hausner; Adjunct Professor at the University of Central Florida; a Guest Researcher for experimental and analytical damage assessment of bridge piers subjected to seismic action at the National Institute of Standards and Technology, Washington, D.C.; Researcher at the University of Toronto, Canada; Project management and/or design experience includes: |
Elie El Zghayar has been with AB Consulting Engineers since October of 2007.His experience in structural design includes: structural steel, concrete, and aluminum. He is also a Masters Student and a graduate research assistant in Structural Engineering at University of Central Florida. His main research is on external post-tensioned anchorage. His work focuses on analytical and experimental investigation of bond and interface problems using pull-out tests, finite elements, and advanced mechanics.
